In the Beginning Midwifery Services - Wisconsin midwives, home birth, hospital birth

	Jane Crawford Peterson Jane Crawford Peterson has been serving homebirth families since 1979. She believes her work as a midwife is both a calling and a way of life. In 2005 she co-lead the legislative campaign to recognize the Certified Professional Midwife credential in Wisconsin. In May 2008 her 25-year dream become reality with the enactment of Wisconsin Act 292 to license midwives providing care to families who choose to have their babies at home.
	Christie Reynolds Christie Reynolds has been working with and learning from homebirth families since 2003. She is a Certified Professional Midwife licensed by the state of Wisconsin to provide midwifery care.
	Korina Pubanz Korina Pubanz has been working with birthing women for over 10 years. She has cared for women at home as a friend, doula, and student midwife and in the hospital as an OB nurse. Korina now holds a temporary license to practice midwifery in the state of Wisconsin.
